Billy T.

billy-t

This is Billy T, so named because his hat looks like a tea cosy. Billy Tea is also the name of a well known Australian tea company.

He’s part of a duo I’m working on. I hope to use both Billy and a little girl bear together in designs for ‘couple cards’ e.g. anniversaries etc. The little girl bear is in progress, so far she has a head but no body. Hope she pulls herself together soon!

Wild Witch Bear

My Wild Witch Bear is at last complete. She now wears a fully lined cloak with hood, a gathered chiffon dress (also fully lined), velvet and lace boots, a star studded velvet lined hat, double breasted velvet bodice and even lacy underwear (with stars, of course)! She is adorned with swarovski crystals (including one on her nose. The silver ant, previously seen on her hat, has now been removed and placed on her foot, and as a finishing touch a little crystal spider has been attached to a web on her staff.

She’s taken quite a while to make but as I look at the finished effect and detail, I think she was well worth the effort. She’ll be my Wild Witch Graphics mascot and will appear on cards and designs, and wherever I sell my products in person.

Happy Halloween to all!

Doolan/Byron

byron

Doolan is finished. He now has a crisp white collar and stylish tie. He even has a kangaroo tie pin just to set things off a little. He looks so studious now that he’s complete that I’ve changed his name to Byron after Lord Byron and Byron Bay (Australia’s most easterly point) which is just down the road a little. His full name in fact is Byron Victor Frughurt – in honour of those who made a few suggestions!

As you can see his favourite author is Thomas Hardy. I look forward to using Byron in card designs at a future time.
