A Logo created as part of Wild Witch Graphics website design for The Orchid Academy, a correspondence school which specialises in Horticulture and Orchid Growing accredited courses. The logo is designed to be representative of both horticulture and correspondence education. The centre square of the logo symbolizes a postage stamp which alludes to the Academy’s activities as a correspondence school. A wave pattern adds to the correspondence theme by representing the franking on a letter. It also symbolizes the furrows of horticulture.

This poster was intended to be displayed in a public light-box. It was created with the help of Photoshop’s liquify tool plus a noise gradient and was designed as a college assignment.

The beautiful dog shown here is a Dalmatian called General. He’s an example of one of my drawings. General’s family loved him dearly and commissioned me to draw a portrait of him, which I’m told sits proudly in their living room. Unfortunately, General passed away not too long ago and his family were heartbroken. When I was designing this book cover for a college assignment I took the opportunity to pay my small tribute to General by placing his portrait on the cover.
