Bear Signature

Most artists like to put their signature on their finished work and bear makers are no exception. Here’s a rough draft of a signature I’ve designed for Wild Witch Bears. I’m going to embroider it onto the finished bear’s footpad. Above is what it should look like. It’s comprised of an L for Lorraine (that’s me), a W for Wild Witch and if you look at it from the side you’ll notice the signature forms a witches profile!
Lady Grey

My duo is finally finished. I’ve named the little girl bear ‘Lady Grey’ and with matching hats I think she and Billy T make a very cute couple. Recently I’ve been busy making more bears and greeting cards for the upcoming Gold Coast International Teddy, Doll and Craft Fair to be held at The Gold Coast Convention and Entertainment Centre at Broadbeach on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th June 2010 (10am – 4pm). The fair showcases the talents of local, national and international artists and is sure to be fun. I hope to be there so if you’re visiting please don’t forget to pop over and say hello.
