Spider

Another visitor to the garden. This is Oscar, and as far as I can tell he’s a Huntsman spider. Please correct me if I’m wrong! Oscar was with us for a while but, he spun his web over the garage door and after countless disturbances he decided to move on. If I end up including spiders in a design, then Oscar is certainly on the shortlist.

November 1st, 2009 at 10:55 pmIt is actually an orb weaver spider. they have a habit of building their webs in the garden, often attached to a building for security. The web goes around and around in the classic shape doesn’t it?
